| THE BRIDGE HAS BEEN BUILT! Miami has open the door to the Spanish Rock bands from Orlando! The bridge between Miami and Orlando has been built, and now we'll see more of the best underground Spanish Rock from Miami here in Orlando and viceversa, what a moment! On that note, we'd like to talk about two very meaningful and trascendent shows for the Spanish Rock movement in Florida: The first will take place in Miami this Saturday, June 6th @ the legendary Churchill's Pub, where bands of the caliber of Minimal and Huma Rojo will perform, along with Urbeprima, in the series of concerts called Rock Kulture. This event will take place the first Saturday of every month @ Churchill's, so stay tuned for upcoming dates! thanks to Alenjandro, booking agent @ Churchill's Pub, for making this event happen! The second will happen on Friday, July 17th @ The Plaza Theatre, where the best and most recognized underground Spanish Rock band from Miami, Soniko, will share stage with The Late Messengers and Urbeprima, in a show that will mark the history of the movement! Also, this Friday, June 5th Urbeprima will be at GRP Studios in Altamonte Springs, performing and recording a live video in a very professional setting. COME AND BE A PART OF OUR VIDEO!! You can also see our performance live @ www.RockenEspanolLive.com & www.GRPStudios.com . Also on this show Gabkas and Zis will be performing. Special thanks to Gabriel Casiano [Gabkas] for making this happen, and for helping us make a difference. In other news, Urbeprima will be @ LAMC [Latin Alternative Music Conference] this year, promoting and networking, and is going to be part of BOOM Magazine's LAMC edition and compilation for the conference!! BOOM is the most important magazine for Spanish Rock in the USA. Enrique Posada, its director and founder, has been of utmost importance for the Spanish Rock movement throughout the years. To find out where you can get this awesome publication go to: www.boomonilne.com As we have been promising, Urbeprima's 1st music video is on the way, and will be finished very soon!!! Can you guess what song the video is about?? let us know what you think. Sometimes life is difficult, and it is the same for artists and bands. A couple of weeks ago, one of our very own, the band Versusnova, lost all of their recording and live gear to some thieves who broke into their rehearsal house and stole it. We don't know who did this, but we want to help our fellow musicians. Music is a really tough world, and everything that goes into putting a show together is a lot of work and sacrifice. Unfortunately, thieves don't understand that. We humbly ask for the help of anyone who might know any information. Also please go to http://blogs.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=blog.view&friendId=384729537&blogId=489617322 for more info on the specifics of the gear. We also wanted to let you know that you can listen to us and request our music on WPRK 95.1 FM [Rollings College Radio], on Sundy nights @ 11PM on Native Noise WJRR 101.1 FM [Real Rock], and that you can get our music on iTunes and CDBABY , links are below:
