| SINGING FOR A CAUSE!! URBEPRIMA played two benefit shows last month for two awesome causes. The first was for YAYA (Youth and Young Adult Network of the National Farm Worker Ministry ), on September 19th @ Mima's Cuban Cafe, with the purpose of raising awareness about farmworkers in Florida as well as raising funds for YAYA projects; what an awesome evening that was!! We want to send a big hello and much respect to the YAYA team, Specially Dominique Aulisio, and also to Lariza Garzon, for all of their hardwork and dedication to help farmworkers. The second show was forRock For Hunger, @ Austin Coffee and Film, on September 26th, to raise funds for the upcoming RFH4 Festival. The night was rainy and a little difficult; we could not raise much money, but we had the company of awesome friends, including the guys from SIGNO NATA. Thanks so much for your support, you guys made our effort worth it!!

Come and see Florida's best Spanish Rock in one of the coolest venues in town. Also, that night, legendary locals SIGNO NATA & LIQUID CIRCLE, will be rocking out @ Taste Restaurant! Amazing food and amazing bands, what else can you ask for? Then, on October 17th, Orlando's URBEPRIMA, LATE MESSENGERS & VERSUSNOVA, & Miami's SOLAZ, will be sharing stage In Jacksonville @ JACKRABBITS! Yes, the goodness is spreading!! Thanks to Monica Antunez form Antares Records for making this show possible. Also, URBEPRIMA will be playing @ Amnesty International's Southern Regional Conference in Atlanta, on October 30th!! Come together with fellow Amnesty activists from across the South for an exciting weekend to celebrate and strengthen the human rights movement. The 2009 conference theme is "Dignity: All Rights for All People." You'll leave with ideas for activism to take back to your community, contacts for other activists, and more knowledge about Amnesty's fight for human rights and dignity.
