EAST COAST, HERE WE GO!! The first two shows of URBEPRIMA's 2010 tour have been a complete success, & we are getting ready for more!! URBEPRIMA started its 2010 tour in Gainesville on April 9th, as a part of a benefit show for the National Farm Worker Ministry @ the Civic Media Center (CMC). In a night filled with poets and activists, in a stage surrounded by books, courageous spirits and free minds, URBEPRIMA followed the beat of words of fire and juctice and performed its brand new repertoire in front of this rich, brand new crowd. The result was amazing and the energy level went through the roof!! Also, on Friday, April 16th, URBEPRIMA shared the stage with the best of the East Cost @ The Plaza Theatre: Orlando's Spanish Rock pioneers, KOOL US, once again rocked the stage & pumped lots of energy to their listeners with their Latin-Prog Rock, which left everyone in hyper mode for the rest of the night; Atlanta's KINGNALDO delivered a heart-felt performance, filled with grunge vocals and deep lyrics, as he continues his U.S. tour. Miami's Oh Dear (former HUMA ROJO.), performed a short, but sweetset, which made the audience stand and jump at their sound blasts, as their Psychedelic Rock took over & people were asking for more!! Lastly, URBEPRIMA took the stage when the energy level was at its peak!! The audience was anxious -as we were- to hear the new repertoire and wanted to rock to some URBEPRIMA tunes. The show was amazing, & we felt happily surprised to hear people already asking for their new favorites, such as DEAF and VENDETTA; The energy kept on rising, & after we finished our set, people wanted more,and we delivered with ICE, a crowd favorite. In a short period of time, the new URBEPRIMA has made critical impact, and all the hard work is paying off!!! As we get ready for the road and our tour, we will make sure to make you proud. This time they bring a Latin Open Mic night, followed by performances by solo artist SIZ, a brand new local act, PAVILLIUM, and the Reggeae beasts from I-NITTY.
